23 February 2021, Virtual – ACT Alliance and the Asia Climate Change Consortium will hold a two-part series regional dialogue on climate science updates as well as insights and lessons on climate advocacy in the time of COVID-19 pandemic.
The first Virtual Regional Dialogue will be on February 23, 2021 with two (2) leading Asian climate scientists, Dr. Fredolin Tangang and Dr. Rosa Perez. Both are involved with the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) and are co-recipients with the IPCC of the 2007 Nobel Peace Prize. A reactor from Indonesia, Debora Dian Ulami, will share about their work on resilience-building that landed them an award from ACT Alliance.
The second will be on March 19, 2021 with panelists from government and ACCC members on lessons and insights on climate action and advocacy in the time of COVID-19 and how we can move forward post pandemic.#
