The 2-day of the Asia Climate Negotiations Advocacy Workshop (ACNW) was successfully conducted via Zoom last 1-2 October 2024 led by the Asia Climate Change Consortium (ACCC)
A very rich, meaningful, and informative discussion indeed. Thank you to all our speakers (Dr. Rosa Perez, along with Atty Niner and Atty Nicole from Parabukas), ACCC facilitators, our ever-lively moderator Ms Jessica Bercilla, and all the participants from the Asia Pacific.
Participants from various countries also presented their best practices in conducting advocacy activities at different levels of engagement. Each country also presented the current critical Climate Change related priority issues.
Mapping of the priority issues and agenda building were the focus of the afternoon session of the 2nd day. This was done to examine the potential of creating collective actions among the participants and the members of ACCC in amplifying the voices of the most vulnerable communities.
ACCC would like to extend its gratitude to all the participating CC advocates, and we look forward to more meaningful engagements.
